Developing application software has become a unique discipline by itself and is growing as much as Computer Science and Information Technology. There are young and aspiring people with a bachelor‛s qualification in a variety of fields and are yet interested in venturing into the area of Computer Science. The background and age of such aspirants helps them to directly get into software application development. VMU offers the Master in Computer Applications (MCA) program at the Faculty of Computer Applications in Vinayaka Mission‛s Kirupananda Variyar Engineering College (VMKVEC) in Salem and the Faculty of Computer Applications in Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Technology (AVIT) in Chennai formerly known as the Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Computer Applications. Both campuses offer a pleasing and conducive environment apart from providing commensurate lab facilities to learn technologies that are current and in demand.
