Faculty of Physical Education

Physical education has become an organized activity forming part of the curriculum in schools and colleges. There is also an increased awareness of physical wellness as a mission of the overall health care system in building a healthy society. Realizing the importance of physical education and wanting to contribute to the well being of society in its own way, VMU introduced the bachelors programs in Physical Education in the year 2005. Functioning at the Vinayaka Mission‛s College of Physical Education, Salem, programs are offered at the bachelor‛s, master‛s and doctoral levels.
