The Center for Placement Services seeks to identify stake holders and define various placement processes, objectives, time lines, deliverables, the feedback mechanism, various committees and responsibilities, the quality processes to be followed and finally post-placement analysis for continuous improvement.
The objective of the CPS is to provide assistance to the students of VMU to secure placements that are congruent with their academic background, performance and career goals. This center keeps employer branding as the primary responsibility. The center also maintains a database of companies with whom the institution has established a good rapport. Although placement service is the individual institutional responsibility, the center will provide a platform for all the institutions to share information and the best practices.
